MVP Must-Haves and Should Haves

I am especially excited about this project because of how well it aligns with my (the company in this instance) interest in purposeful social connections and the way the user demographic prefers to learn and connect, from market research. This connecting point between company and user needs clearly spells out what the must-haves and should-haves of the product need to be.

MVP Could-Haves and Won’t-Haves (Yet)

Although the MVP of the product is expected to have only a few features from the product epics, these features yet to come are included in the product design to give extra context for the user stories in development.

User Empathy

Going beyond user persona demographics to their daily routines and social media behaviours, the user stories and prioritization of the product backlog are carefully crafted with the end user’s needs and pain points in mind.

Definition of Done for each Feature

To ensure that the MVP is properly developed and responsive, as well as shipped to market in the shortest possible time, there are a clear set of criteria for each of the must-have and should-have features which need to be met for the product increment to be done. These criteria also serve as a barrier against unnecessary focus on bells and whistles which could delay deploy and user insight.
